Autumn in Sydney

It is a beautiful chilly month here.

The leaves are a wonderful yellow reddish brown color on tall trees spanning the sidewalk in the school.

And I discovered the wonders of a heater today.

The worst showing is over

Somehow life has a way of screwing things up when I am concentrating on not failing.

But as Winston Churchill once said, never ever give up. The best players have the highest number of strike-outs.

Although I am hoping it will be fine in the end.

Lazy monster

Our fears realized when the adverse occurs. But better than the constant niggling worry at the back of the mind.

The solution to beating the chill when studying overseas is to wrap up in an extra jacket, furry bathrobe and three pairs of socks.

No matter how cold, solution suffices and replace the jacket with winter jacket and add socks endlessly and Kashmir scarf. Low cost impoverished student life solutions.

Thank god mechanical engineering class taught insulation and heat transfer theory.

Jumping around in Sydney

There is something magical about this place.

Although I struggle sometimes to find a way to use latent heat to transform raw stuff into something edible, I still love this city despite the high food costs.

I hope its the city of dreams. : )
